Sam Hart is a Marine veteran returning home after a medical discharge due to combat injuries. As he reconnects with his brother and adjusts to civilian life, he uses painting as part of his healing and therapy. When his art begins to sell at a gallery, Sam meets the interior designer. For Sam, it’s love at first sight, but for Lexi Frisk, he has no part in her neatly ordered life. When Lexi’s boyfriend takes his frustrations out on Lexi and her life unravels, she instinctively runs to Sam as a source of safety. Together, they find healing and a path forward through the darkest of times.
