Kick Cha Cop
Kick Cha Cop
“Kick Cha Cop” is an over-the-top, gritty action, feature-length comedy that revels in the tropes of 80’s cop movies. The film will delivered in an ‘edited for television’ format. Harsh language… bleeped. Graphic scenes… hastily edited down for a PG audience. A parody of poorly edited R-rated films for a younger audience.
The store is based on a world where justice is dished out with karate, tough gangs, and wisecracks. Set in a nameless city, the film follows Detective Duke Fury, a hard-as-nails cop with a rebellious streak, known for his unorthodox methods and a distinct disregard for rules. Duke is all about getting results—collateral damage and proper procedure be damned. All while using the ancient form of karate called “Kick-Cha”.
When a mysterious crime syndicate led by Santino Santino, a ruthless, brutal villain with a grudge, threatens to take over the city, Duke is the only cop tough (and reckless) enough to take them on. Armed with little more than his fists, his worn leather jacket, and a serious chip on his shoulder, Duke is reluctantly paired with his more by-the-book partner, Detective Morris, who secretly harbors feelings for him. Together, they face a series of escalating, absurd challenges, from neon-lit street brawls to explosive dockyard showdowns.
“Kick Cha Cop” combines relentless action with dry humor, as Duke Fury kicks, punches, and quips his way through the city’s criminal underworld, delivering justice in his own unique, chaotic style.

Duke Fury is a renegade cop in his 40s, fiercely dedicated to justice and his unique martial art, Kick-Cha—a flashy blend of karate, street brawling, and over-the-top flair. With a leather jacket, fingerless gloves, and a “kick first, ask questions later” mentality, Duke is intense, independent, and quick to clash with authority. He doesn’t follow rules but lives by his own code to protect the innocent, battling the city’s criminal underworld with dramatic roundhouse kicks and biting one-liners. Though his partner, Detective Morris, quietly admires him, Duke’s true love will always be Kick-Cha and delivering justice his own way.
Detective Morris is a seasoned but weary cop in her late 20s to early 40s, with a quiet intensity that masks a deeply compassionate, though often conflicted, heart. She’s resilient, sharp-witted, and unafraid to stand up to anyone, but years of feeling overlooked have worn her down, leaving her with a sense of cynicism and isolation. Professionally, she’s dedicated and efficient, known for her sharp instincts, but her personal life is plagued by unspoken feelings and unresolved relationships—especially with her partner, who remains unaware of her unrequited love. Morris keeps her emotions in check, using a wry sense of humor as armor, though her eyes betray a vulnerability that she can’t quite hide.\
Bella Maples is a warm, kind-hearted woman in her 20-30s who runs a small flower shop, pouring her heart and soul into her work. With a gentle demeanor and an infectious smile, Bella’s world revolves around creating beauty, whether it’s through her vibrant bouquets or the calm, peaceful space she’s cultivated in her shop. When the workday ends, she retreats to her modest apartment, where she finds comfort in the quiet company of her cat, reveling in the simple joys of life. Though she appears soft-spoken and defenseless, Bella is far from fragile. She’s learned to defend herself when cornered, using her quick wits and surprising strength to escape dangerous situations. Beneath her sweet exterior lies a fierce spirit that refuses to back down when her safety or those she cares about are threatened. Bella’s calm, nurturing nature contrasts with her hidden resilience, making her a quietly powerful presence in a world that often underestimates her.
Santino Santino is a ruthless, calculating crime lord in his 40 – 60s, and the undisputed kingpin of the cocaine trade in the city. With a penchant for luxury and control, Santino operates his vast criminal empire with a cold, strategic mind, ruling through fear and intimidation. His icy demeanor and sharp intellect make him a formidable opponent to anyone who dares to cross him. Though he commands a network of criminals, Santino is fiercely independent, believing that no one can execute his vision as perfectly as he can. His vendetta against Duke Fury is deeply personal. Santino sees Duke as the only person standing in the way of his absolute dominance in the city. Their history is tinged with betrayal, and Santino will stop at nothing to bring Duke down, using every resource at his disposal to dismantle the one man who challenges his reign. With a reputation for getting his hands dirty when necessary, Santino is as dangerous as he is ambitious, always thinking two steps ahead and determined to eradicate anyone who dares defy him.
Captain Fryer is a tough, no-nonsense police captain in his mid-50s, with years of experience navigating the gritty world of law enforcement. He’s seen it all and doesn’t have time for games, especially when it comes to dealing with the likes of Duke Fury. A man of few words, Captain Fryer is pragmatic, deeply dedicated to the job, and constantly caught in the middle of trying to control his unpredictable officers while keeping the peace in the city. Though he maintains a strict, almost cold exterior, he has a soft spot for the department and its people, doing what he can to keep them safe, even if it means making tough, unpopular calls. His relationship with Duke is strained—he recognizes Duke’s talents but is frustrated by his reckless methods. Fryer is a man who operates by the book, but as the pressure builds, he may find himself bending those very rules to get results.
Tabernus is a wise, stoic martial arts master in his 50-60s who serves as a mentor to Duke Fury, much like Mr. Miyagi to Daniel in Karate Kid. With a deep knowledge of ancient combat techniques and philosophy, Tabernus is calm, disciplined, and patient, providing a grounding influence to Duke’s chaotic and impulsive nature. While Duke rushes headfirst into battles with flashy moves and raw power, Tabernus teaches him the deeper, more spiritual aspects of Kick-Cha—a mix of martial artistry and personal growth. Though Tabernus is often silent and reserved, his wisdom is clear in the few, impactful words he shares. He helps Duke refine his skills, not just for physical combat but for navigating the complexities of life. Where Duke is wild and untamed, Tabernus embodies control and balance, and their relationship is one of quiet guidance, where Tabernus stands as the patient teacher to Duke’s eager, often reckless student.
The Ape is a hulking, imposing figure , a terrifying enforcer and secret weapon for Santino Santino. Standing well over 6 feet tall, with muscles that seem to ripple with every movement, The Ape is the kind of man who causes a room to go silent the moment he enters. He’s not the kind of guy you want to mess with—his strength is matched only by his brutal efficiency. Though he’s not a constant presence in Santino’s operation, The Ape is called upon during special occasions or when things need to be settled with extreme force. Santino keeps him on a short leash, unleashing him when the situation demands raw power and intimidation. Silent and to the point, The Ape doesn’t speak much, preferring to let his actions do the talking. He’s the muscle that ensures Santino’s will is done, and his ruthless nature makes him a valuable asset in the criminal underworld. Whether it’s breaking bones or sending a message, The Ape always gets the job done—and leaves a trail of destruction in his wake.
Tony is a hustler who works for Santino Santino, but in Santino’s eyes, Tony is more muscle than brain. Though Tony has a certain street smarts, Santino doesn’t consider him to be a mastermind—he’s a guy who gets the job done through force, charm, or intimidation, rather than strategic thinking. Often sent to handle the dirty work, Tony is the guy who’ll deal with the messes, run the errands, and handle anyone who gets in Santino’s way, even if it’s not the most sophisticated approach. While Tony likes to think he’s playing a bigger role, Santino sees him as expendable muscle—useful in a pinch but lacking the subtlety and intelligence to be anything more than a tool in Santino’s larger plan. Tony’s true value lies in his ability to break things, not think them through, and as far as Santino’s concerned, that’s exactly what he needs when things get tough.
Scab is a scrappy, greasy-haired low-level thug in his late 20s, working his way up the criminal ladder in Santino Santino’s organization. With a reputation for being unreliable but willing to do anything to climb the ranks, Scab is a wildcard who often takes on menial, dangerous tasks in hopes of proving himself. He’s quick to pick a fight and doesn’t think things through, making him prone to reckless decisions that often get him in over his head. Though he’s not the brightest or the strongest, Scab has a surprising knack for getting himself out of tight situations, relying on sheer luck or the help of others to escape. He’s eager to please, constantly looking for validation from his superiors, especially Santino, though he’s fully aware that he’s seen as expendable. Scab is easily manipulated, and while he tries to act tough, his loyalty is questionable, driven more by self-preservation than true loyalty to Santino.
Cutsy is a quirky, unpredictable figure in her late 20s, known for her striking appearance and erratic behavior. Often seen with a devil-may-care attitude and a penchant for chaos, Cutsy is an unpredictable member of Santino Santino’s crew, known for her ability to infiltrate situations with a smile and a mischievous glint in her eye. While she may seem harmless at first, Cutsy has a knack for getting under people’s skin, using her charm and cunning to manipulate situations to her advantage. She’s resourceful and clever, able to navigate tricky situations without breaking a sweat, though her methods are often unorthodox and can leave a trail of confusion in her wake. Though she doesn’t possess the raw strength of others in Santino’s crew, Cutsy’s intelligence and quick thinking make her a wild card—someone who can both cause trouble and get the job done in her own unpredictable way. Her loyalties are often in question, as she’s driven more by self-interest than any real sense of loyalty, but her ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances makes her a valuable (if dangerous) ally.
McSugar and Lamburger are two washed-up, lethargic detectives in their 40s who have long since lost any ambition for justice. Both are perpetually unshaven, overweight, and jaded, spending more time at the local diner than in the field. McSugar, the older of the two, has a permanent scowl and a habit of cracking sarcastic one-liners, while Lamburger is the quieter, more lethargic half of the pair, often seen with a coffee in hand and a glazed look in his eyes. They’ve long since abandoned any real commitment to solving crimes, instead coasting through their jobs while collecting paychecks from the very people they’re supposed to be investigating. It’s widely suspected that both are on Santino Santino’s payroll, taking bribes and looking the other way when it comes to the criminal activities in the city. Their sluggish approach to work makes them ineffective in their duties, yet somehow they always seem to avoid any serious repercussions. Their interactions with Duke Fury and other more capable officers are often marked by condescension, as they’ve grown used to operating in a corrupt system where their laziness and apathy go unnoticed. Though they’re technically on the police force, McSugar and Lamburger’s true loyalties lie with anyone who can buy them a drink and keep them out of trouble.
Vinny Santino is the son of Santino Santino, who is trying to carve out his own identity in the shadow of his father’s criminal empire. Vinny is eager to prove himself but lacks the ruthlessness and strategic mind that has made his father so successful. He’s flashy, impulsive, and driven more by his desire for respect than any true loyalty to the family business. Vinny often finds himself caught between wanting to step into his father’s shoes and the fear of being overshadowed by Santino’s overwhelming presence. Though he tries to portray himself as a tough guy, Vinny is still very much a rookie in the underworld, making him susceptible to mistakes and manipulation. He’s often more concerned with status symbols, like luxury cars and designer clothes, than with the logistics of running a criminal operation. Despite his immaturity, Vinny has moments of genuine ambition and a desire to prove his worth, which sometimes leads him to make rash decisions that put him in over his head. Santino keeps him close, but it’s clear that Vinny has a long way to go before he can fill his father’s shoes.
